Introducing
Property Manager Since 2001
Realtor Since 2004
Getting to Know Ms. Rau

Back in 2001 Nicole began her career working as a commercial broker's assistant and primary property manager with Investor's Property Management headed by commercial broker Stephen W Sun in San Marino, California. Here she was an assistant on property acquisitions and sales, and the main contact for all the property management business. Here she managed 13 properties including residential, retail, and office space with no assistance. Her first boss, Mr. Sun, still continues to inspire her career even after his passing in 2008.
In 2004 she received her real estate license, and then began to show homes, write leases, and sale property. Later in 2004 Nicole opened Innovation Property Management (later renamed Rauco) and began work as an on-site commercial high-rise manager in Arcadia, California. Here she managed a 26 million dollar investment property for a private trust, while continuing her real estate sales career.
Inspired by friends, family, and colleagues, she continued her studies alongside full-time work. In the summer of 2016 she received her bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly, Pomona in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, Real Estate, and Law.

"I have been quite lucky in my past. I have worked along side some of the most profound individuals I have ever met. Thank you to the men and women who have educated and challenged me over the years."
In the winter of 2009 she changed her name to Nicole Renae Rau in honor of her grandfather Charles James Rau. That same year she changed the company name to Rau & Company (later named Rauco), and added real estate marketing, sales, and leasing services to the service list of the company. Her grandfather still remains a great inspiration to her and the Rau family today.
Nicole enjoys sailing her Hobie Cat sail boat and snowboarding all over the world in her spare time. She prides herself on building an ethically responsible establishment with client relationship standards that are informative and honest.
On December 14th, 2013 Nicole and her dog, Oliver, went vegan after Oliver was diagnosed with hymen sarcoma cancer and given 6 months to live. On December 14th, 2016 they celebrated 3 years vegan, and no cancer growth. Unfortunately Ollie Rau passed away on March 31st, 2017 from a heart condition. His missed dearly.

Our boat is the 2nd Hobie Catamaran from the right. We have rainbow sails on a 16 foot Hobie Cat with a 24 foot main mast. We sail mainly out of Castaic Lake in Santa Clarita, and Bonelli Park in San Dimas. The picture above was taken in 2009.
